About Pastor Kev

My story…that may take me some time to write!…..

For now….

My beautiful wife is Anne…
I’m currently a Pastor in a local church…
I love music…
Love God…
I see the world differently to others and sometimes cop flack for it!
I toured in Rock n Roll bands for most of my youth years…
I have experienced and conquered lots of heath problems over the years…
There’s more…I’m sure of it…

What is this site about?

A Pastor to the community…what’s that? Someone you can ask questions of to learn more about keys for living a great life. Through this site you could find out what God thinks about life and you.

Here’s a spiel from Ps. Kev…

I value community and the results of living in community with each other.

What is community?
Well dictionary.com says this:
com·mu·ni·ty

a social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, share government, and often have a common cultural and historical heritage; a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the larger society within which it exists; similar character; agreement; identity: community of interests….

I believe that we were created to have community with each other and God. Through this site I would like to create a safe place where people can ask questions about life and about God and build an online community together.

Who am I?

Am I a guru or a professional? no….
Although I have been a Pastor in a local church for the last 10 years…
Am I a deep theological teacher? no…
Although I have put myself through Bible College training…
Am I an expert? no…
But I am creative so I often see things differently to others…

I am just an ordinary bloke who has spent 24 years of his life working out how one can truly experience God’slove in the here and now. So when you ask me a question and I give you my thoughts, they will be basically coming from someone who is largely unlearned from an academic point of view- so my grammar will not be good!! (there is my disclaimer!) But…you will understand what I am saying. I will try to convey what I consider to be God’s thoughts to His creation. I use the Bible as my reference book to life.

Will I always have the right answers? no….
Will I always be honest and genuine in my response? yes…

I will do my best to share with you what I have learned about life and God over the last 25 years of my life. I will share through words and music.

Maybe together through this online community we can discover more about God and life and what we were created to be together.
Looking forward to the journey with you,
Pastor Kev

    Dear Pastor Kev,
Hi there! How’s it going? Don’t know if this go to you or not or if you even remember me. I used to be i your youtgroup at Heritage City Community Church, Greg Manttan’s little sister. Just wanted to email to say I’ve given my life back to God. I don’t go to a church yet as my husband is a non believer at the moment and I don’t want to push the issue with him, but I’m praying for him. We have two kids now. Well hope you and Anne are doing great. Feel free to email me if you get this. I was actually looking for a church site where I can view online church services during the afternoon and I came across your site. Well catch ya.

Hey Pastor Kev, I attend Life Church in OKC, My husband and daughter are on staff there. I read your one prayer interview on the swerve life church blog. Your answer to the number 2 question jumped out at me, after spending this past week-end ministering hope to a family whose 19 year old son is in ICU, was pronounce “brain dead” yesterday and at this moment his body is awaiting having his organs donated. In the midst of the “urgent chaos of life”, myself and others that God had there, refused to be “driven” by the chaos but chose to lead from that “still quiet place in God”. Several people committed on the calm and peace, the hope that came as the focus was turned to God’s great love, comfort, and help for us. GOD IS our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. It was the daily time in the word with the Lord that had us prepared and ready to minister from that place. Thank you for putting into words what the body of Christ needs to hear. To God be the Glory!!!
